Not my favourite hiaasen, but it was cute, and I like that he's branching out to children's books. I think Tourist Season will always be my favourite though. I like his stand point on where Florida (and in a way the world) is going environmentally. Plus those little owls are too adorable.

I read it, but it that was a couple of years ago, way before they planned on making it into a movie. I don't remember any details about the book, but I do remember it being very aimed at children and pre-teen readers. I have to admit, though, I enjoyed it. But then again, that was around 3 years ago, I think. I love being ahead of the trend. I hope you're not just hopping on the bandwagon, little girl.

It was okay, a bit slow at times.

If you want a faster-paced book try Harry Potter, King Fortis the Brave, Eragon or Artemis Fowl.

They are all terrific
