I would also have to say anger. It can make people seem nothing like how they normally act. People can do some weird things when they're mad.
I found this interesting. It was in the August edition of Discover magazine; "The average stone ager had a 1 in 50 chance of having his head bashed in." Lots of head bashing :)

My fellow human (i hope), there are only two emotions: Love and fear. All other emotions are different expressions of love and fear. :-). Both of them can be equally raw, but the pain that accompanies fear makes it much more... controversial?
Love is especially raw in the light of its absence... maybe the absence of love is fear...?

Mourning the death of a child...the sound of a Mom who just found out their child has passed...it can't get anymore "raw" in my opinion.

Definitely fear. Anger is a response to fear. When you see an angry person, know that the person is afraid or feels threatened.
