cylindrical coordinate system contains r,h,angle(thi)
r is the distance from center in x-y plate
h is like z
and angle is from the positive x line

spherical coordinate system contains r and two angles
r is the distance between the point and center
first angle is like cylindrical
second angle is between the point and its shadow in x-y plate

i hope i explained well you can contact me if you want

A coordinate system is a rule for how to describe a point's location with number. Ordinary cartesian (or "rectangular") coordinates uses X and Y, which are the distances from the Y and X axis, respectively.

Polar coordinates use angle (or "argument") and distance from the center. Humans and other animals think in polar coordinates - there are specific brain damages that prevents a mouse from remebering angles and other that prevent it from remebering distances from the center of a water maze. But it's easier to plot points on paper using rectangular coordinates. Therefore, we learned rectangular coordinates at school.
