I don't know the answer to your question, but I must warn you that trains in England have many different prices. Get on the site of british rail and make a booking there. Based on the time of departure, the booking in advance, etc, you can find cheap tickets, but if you don't choose carefully and just show up at the station you could buy very expensive ones.
