Too often these days I see people standing against each other unwilling to acknowledge anything good about each other. I do not understand why people do not seem to understand that it is the people in America who have the power. Unite enough people in a common cause and you can move mountains. It is okay to despise or distrust government if you choose, but why must you extend that hate to common people. It is okay to be Patriotic, but why when people disagree are they labelled as anti-american. Do you not see that it is in the government's best interest to keep us at each others throats, and out or the process as much as possible?

Here's the question again. Do you believe in we the people? Or is your view Us against Them? Please explain your reasoning?

Please leave the Bush bashing at the door. Administrations are irrelevant to this question because they are all guilty of this. Besides, there are plenty of other questions for that on Yahoo Answers.

We the people have the right and the ability to make change in the way things are done in this country.We have the right to petition the govenment,we have the right to recall,we have the right to referend.Too many people have become complacent with todays government.They either dont know or dont care that they can institute change.Thank you for the qustion.Maybe this will help.

You bet ya we the people still stands you saw we the people after 9/11 the only problem is the democrats could not stand to have a Bush get credit for doing what was right for America so you saw the other we the people tear us down and they the demos are still at it today.

You've got a pretty long diatribe for such a simple question. I think you know the answer already.

In short, small groups have their agendas and that is all they are interested in. No one is willing to do what is best for the whole to the detriment of themselves.

Yes.

The words are just as meaningful today as they were 230 years ago. Some people want to re-interpret the meaning to align with their way of thinking... that was never the intention. "WE" means everybody, inclusive of our personal beliefs, convictions and likes / dislikes. It is the foundation upon which everything else is constructed. That should never be forgotten.

Yes I believe they are just as relevant as ever, the politicians how ever have no clue!
