I got 109,000 miles on mine and put between 8 and 12 thousand a year on it. I'm just wondering if many other people are riding high mileage bikes more than just back and forth to the bar once a week.

I got a '93 Harley Heritage Softail classic. I've been into the motor and am encountering gremlins more often, chasing gremlins is part of the lifestyle and enjoyable to an extent if they're not major.

148,000 miles on a Honda Valkyrie is not considered "high mileage".
My wife and I have camped off of that bike for two weeks at a stretch. We've ridden it to WY , to NC and to IN, as well as all over TX.

Mines getting close, I'm at 97,500 - 82 Suzuki 850, but I had an overhaul at 50,000. I only drive in summer.

Good luck on yours - BTW - you didn't mention what make, model, year or engine cc size. Just curious - would like to know.

I put 100k on my old 89 honda shadow before I traded it in in 2000. My current ride is an 02 wide glide. I bought it new and put 50k on it so far.

your a star. I've got 40,000miles on my sv650 and I would very much like to make the 100,000 mark but it might fall apart with rust before then. to close to the sea!
