Thank God that we can all voice our own opinions. We all must remember that We the People of the United States of American voted for him. You individually might not have (most of you probably arn't old enough to have voted in the last election) but collectively we voted for him. We must support him and show him our dissappointment by voting against the Republican party in the next election. I cannot say that I completely agree with everything that he has done BUT he is my President and I will not bash him. But it is your rights as Americans to bash anyone that you want to. Now for those of you that say "tell that to the men and women and families that have lost thier lives because of war" I have something totally different to say to you. First off those men and women gave thier lives for your freedoms. Do not bash the President that THEY so proudly obeyed in thier name. They would not like that. (I know this because I come from a long line of Military men) If you haven't noticed there no longer is a draft (well there is but it hasn't been instituted) so our military is strictly voluntary. They proudly sacrificed thier lives and you dont' have the right to disgrace that. As for G W Bush being an american hero I don't know. I do know that the days after 9-11 he had alot on his shoulders and I think that he did what he thought was best. Plus one last point that I would like to make. We are all so smart and could solve the problems of the world but we don't have a clue until we stand one day in the shoes of George Bush (our elected president).

History will decide whether GWB is a hero or a fruit cake. For my part, George Bush is the most courageous president this country has had since Harry Truman. We have had some pretty good presidents in that span of presidents, but none with the commitment and follow thru that George Bush has demonstrated.

Certainly, these dweebs who answered before me, and were barely able to spit out their one liners, represent the bottom of the opinion barrel. That's what happens when you leave the door open!

More of a hero than 99% of you answering this question could comprehend. You are a bunch of cowardly sheeple. Now go get a job.

President Bush will go into the history books as one of the greatest Presidents. Look at Abe he was just as low in the polls and despised as G.W. oh yes people will one day realize. Once the fad of bashing Bush is over.

He's no hero! If Bushit's brains were premium gasoline he couldn't power a flee size motorcycle half way around a BB!

CAPITAL, n. The seat of misgovernment. That which provides the fire, the pot, the dinner, the table and the knife and fork for the anarchist; the part of the repast that himself supplies is the disgrace before meat.
Ambrose Bierce (1842-1914)

It is not the function of the government to keep the citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to keep the government from falling into error.
U.S. Supreme Court Justice : Robert H. Parker

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
Thomas Jefferson

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. When the loyal opposition dies, I think the soul of America dies with it.
Edward R. Murrow

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.
Theodore Roosevelt

The government is merely a servant — merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them.
Mark Twain

I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.
Abraham Lincoln

Loyalty to the country always. Loyalty to the government when it deserves it.
Mark Twain

This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in.
Theodore Roosevelt

Government is a trust, and the officers of the government are trustees; and both the trust and the trustees are created for the benefit of the people.
Henry Clay 1777-1852

Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism.
George Washington

Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.
Abraham Lincoln

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

I don't think he will be remembered as a hero by history. There may be some American corporations who remember him as a great President like Halburton and Litton Systems as well as oil companies.

I admire the many greatly and have a deep respect for him. We will look back on him, years from now, and he will be vindicated, just like Harry Truman was. Bush will be known as a great President for his role in fighting terrorism and formulating strong economic policies to encourage innovation, not stifle it.

No, Bush is an ***, but he is our ***, and I'll be damned if I am going to let the pinhead jihad's take him down. It is my job to beef about Bush's failing, it is there job to shut the F**CK up and get out of my way. Failing that Bush and I can go kick some Islamic butt, metaphorically speaking.
