Dont look at people around you. Just look at yourself and see what good qualities you have in you and I am sure some of the people around you dont have something which you have.
I know you are confident enough to ask so why not apply it practically and i am sure you will fell like you are on top of the world. I'll tell you one secret The most handsome guy in my college have a stinky feet. Dont tell anybody cos he will kill me if he comes to know that. Best of luck and get started to be on top

If you want to get back your confidence, then you only need to turn back and go where you once before or even improve yourself. Look back to your family especially your parents who are always proud of you. Get support from your siblings and other family members and support them too.. Make more friends or create and environment of friendship. Join organizations where you can share your ideas and resources and eventually help and meet other people. Study and earn knowledge-this is a continuous process, you know. Always prepare and Improve your self-the way you dress, the way you talk, the way you interact with other people. Be creative. Learn to sing, dance, play the guitar. Write letters, essays or poems and paint or draw. Come on friend,don't just sit down there and ask question. Lift your butt and move on. There are many things to do out there. Thanks friend.

Confidence shouldn't be derived from other other people, It works best if you generate it from the inside. If all those around you are in despair, you can still be confident in yourself. Just like Peter Pan, he can fly by thinking happy thoughts and these are thoughts not prescribed by other people. Every one has their happy thoughts and you just have to find the right one.
Wouldn't be nice that in being confident, the people around will shine out as you do? Try it, by doing positive acts you get positive results.

Confidence is not achieved by eating pills its only a result of positive response. First start thinking positive and don bother about what people say if Hitler would have done the same you would have probably not knowing him.
Just keep doing what u feel n never let failures let u down

Your confidence for what??? Do you still go to work? Then you are confident you can drive there right? You have a negative association to something causing this lack of confidence for (blank). i m telling u about a special meditation practice.that will change ur personality
ur body & clothes should b clean.then sit in a dark room.environment should b peacefull,sit in a relaxed posture on flour,ur waist should b straight.
close ur eyes,and imagin that blue lights are showering on u.these lights r comming from sky.
do this practice daily for 20 or 30 minutes.during this practice u have to forget about outer material world.just concentrate towards ur internal world.if u do it daily.u will get real happiness from ur inner.and also many other benefits.
precautions:
this exercise should be done after 2 & 1/2 hour of eating anything.
best time is before sleeping at night or on waking in morning or midnight .select any convenient time.
this practice will affect ur brain waves.ur brain will produce more alpha brain waves.that r sign of peace,relaxation & self confidence

You can read a good book on how to build self-confidence or you can just look to your self and map out your good qualities and strengthen the weaker ones or you could start hanging around people that exude confidence and let it "rub" off on you!

Playing sport and working out are good ways to gain confidence. Try to play at a level suitable for your abilities and don't think you have to win all the time.

Sometimes you need to reach from within to gather what you need. Make a list of good things about you. Find 2 or 3 things each day to compliment yourself on... i.e.: you're funny, good at math, you have a pretty smile, or whatever traits you enjoy about yourself. Try to avoid negative people. If you must be around these people, tell them in a firm but kind tone... "I will not allow you to feed negativity into my life"... They may not take you seriously at first, but stick with it. Eventually your attitude will change when you start to feel better about yourself, and when you feel good about yourself then others will also feel good about you.
