The person might have space limits on their email. If you are sending a large file then it may kick it back as undeliverable.

there may be problem with the email address that you r writing i mean first of all check out whether the email id is correct or not?
i.e. if u r writing name@yahoo.com instead of name@yahoo.co.in or .uk than u will get failure delivery as due to incorrect id it won't deliver so just check out with the id first ok

That ID probably doesn't exist anymore.....check with that person to see if they got a new address.

it means you are misspelling it or that the email address no longer exists. If you know this person, ask them to give you their e-mail address again.

Maybe their servers are down. That does happen sometimes.
