I've never met one that does'nt. they all move here to work, since it sucks so bad up there. then have nothing good to say bout it. If it's so damn great up there, stay up there. there are too many of you here. Everywhere I turn there's a Damn Yankee in my way.

I never said they are bad. I just don't understand why so many are here and seem to do nothing but talk sh*t about it. And if yankee offends you, you should change the name of your baseball team.

Actually I've had just the opposite experience. I know a born and bred Texan who moved up here over 10 years ago, and she's still sneering at Northerners and where she lives now. She's been invited to migrate back home many times but still stays. I wonder why?
I'm a born and bred Wisconsinite and wouldn't consider living anywhere where there are only two seasons, summer and Christmas. Where the cockroaches are so big they don't get crushed when you step on them, and you're surrounded by Baptists everywhere like Night of the Living Dead. You stay down there in the desert - you're welcome to it. We'll stay up here where it's green, lush, and beautiful.

We've got the same problem with southerners up here... too cold!...too crowded!... But, most of us realize it has nothing to do with being southerners (hillbillys, rednecks, Texas cowboys, NON-yankees???). Some people just don't like snow and ice. Some people move thinking it will solve all their problems, then pack up their problems and take them along. Some people get homesick. Some people just like to complain. You wouldn't fall into that last category would you?
Have some compassion.

OK hillbilly. I am from the North - do not call me yankee and I will not call you hillbilly. I like parts of Texas. I would not live there though. I can not put up with the heat and humidity. Why do you put the Northerners down? Is it because they are right, or because you do not agree with what they say? Maybe they move there because their jobs relocated. Live with it.

Here in Philadelphia New Yorkers come here and put us down. They've been priced out of New York and then move to their second choice (Philly) and then complain when it's not NYC. People get nostalgic for where they used to live I suppose.

I have learned that Texans are very proud of their state... and Yankees aren't trying to offend you.... they just complain. that's kinda just what they do!
I live in Michigan... and you should hear what people that live here say about it.... but some would never leave. I don't know why its that way, but they probably mean no harm. :) we aren't all bad!

The reason they insult Texas is because Texas sucks.

No choice, what are the alternatives? You do produce fine presidents though.
