We are both curly and she(4mths) still has straight and pretty fair hair. I thought it'd fall out, but it didn't.

My youngest was born with the most beautiful straight black hair. To look at her now you would not believe she is the same baby. She is 1 1/2 years old and she has curly white blonde hair. Her hair color changed by the time she was 6 months old, but the curls appeared after a year. Just because you have curly hair does not mean she will. My sister has red curly hair and her husband is a blond with straight hair. Their girls have white blonde hair and very straight - no curls, no body, nothing. My hair is straight (not poker straight) and strawberry blonde and my husband has curly dark brown hair. Our girls have red straight hair, blonde some curls, and blonde very curly. Her hair won't look the same as she grows. Eventually it will stop changing and then she may have your curls, she may have dark hair. You will never know. Just love her for who she is.

I had straight hair when I was growing up and now it's very curly. It won't fall out but the curls will start forming eventually if both you and your husband have curly hair.
It'll probably keep it's color but gradually darken as she gets older.

Her hair will fall out and regrow over time. It usually isn't an all at once kind of process. Her hair now won't be the same as when becomes a toddler.

Hi there! Both my girls were born with very straight hair and now they are 4 and 5 and have beautiful curls. It's a patience game. God Bless!

I wondered the same thing with my daughter but her hair (8mths) now is starting to curl. So I guess as time goes by it will change.. or it could just stay straight never really can tell

It shouldn't fall out, but over time it should become curly like yours! :). Give her another 4 months ;)

hair can change as they get older. They could be born a blonde and then a year later be a brunette same with eye color.I think by the time they are a year old is when they are keeping what they have.
