Hehehe.... oh dear. OK.

First one... some kind of nasty megamix covers album - "UK Top 20 Hits by Chartbusta and the Megamixas, volume 3"... it really is bad. But I still copied it to tape and played it lots, as i was about 9 years old. Up til that time I'd satisfied myself copying all my parents' vinyl LPs, so the novelty of getting modern-day tunes I'd heard (sort of) on the radio from a shiny metal platter of my very own over-rode all issues of quality.
Second... The greatest hits of dance, triple CD, a Telstar label compilation of a lot of (at the time - 1992) hot tracks. Very, very cheesy now.
Third... oh, i can't even remember. But probably a complete rock and roll reversion - Aerosmith "Big Ones" early 90s best-of (-so-far), unless it was a birthday present for my then-new hi-fi :)

Things didn't get any better for a couple of years!

Still happily taking chances on buying terrible, cheesetacular discs in the hope it'll be a secret classic even now...

As embarrassing as it is, mine was a Shakin' Stevens album. 1987 was the year. My music taste stayed pretty bad untill 1990 or so, when I discovered Guns n Roses.

I actually bought my first 3 at once:
Notorious B.I.G - Ready to Die
Dr. Dre - The Chronic
Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystyle

All three are now classics.
