Wotcha, I heard about this idea on the radio and thought it was a pretty good idea, for burning away the hours. When I googled it, I found there are hundreds of them. So does anyone out there in Yahoo land know of any intelligent role playing adventure type sites that I would be able to really 'get into'

Please feel free to hurl abuse if you feel inadequate enough to... wont bother me, as this is a genuine question, and I would value genuine responses.

Cheers

Here you go mate. Just check through the list and it will let you know which are free, and which cost money. Yes there are some good free ones in there to which are also conveniently rated.

Enjoy :-)

I joined "Runescape" http://www.runescape.com about 4 days ago and i cant stop using it. If you like RPG games this is excellent. The tutorial is very good and fast and the graphics are amazing since you have nothing to download and its all based online. The best thing about it is that the money you can get in the game can get bought and sold for items in the real world- go have a look on ebay!

Lots of fun and no pressure to do quests or meet people or aquire skills, a leisurely world with the option to upgrade to a memebrs account if you like.

Even if you did its not too expensive.

Come join and look me up! (my names 'Battleclock')

Dragon's Dogma, and with suggestions from extension, darkish Arisen. you could make both [your Arisen/participant-personality and your 'major' Pawn] with a personality cust it really is deeper than maximum MMOs. The gameplay blows Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Dragon Age, Mass outcome, all OUT OF THE WATER. [i have performed and own: All Elder Scrolls, All Fallout, Dragon Age: Origins terrific version (offered Dragon Age 2 because it is poor) The Mass outcome Trilogy [even even if i trust 2 and three are huge letdowns for what ME1 tried to do] and that i trust that Dragon's Dogma trumps all of them, demanding. mixed with a narrative [in case you could comprehend it, which apparently maximum critics can't] that has an ending better MINDBLOWING than the ending to BioShock: countless. once you're lookin' for computing gadget, then i'm sorry. Dragon's Dogma is console unique [even if unique to neither console, it is on PS3 and 360] even if it sounds precisely like what you're lookin' for.
