I think it has a 3% chance of failure, but you should also be concerned about STD's and contracting AIDS. Consider a condom also unless you are married and monogomous. Be safe!

If you are on antibiotics they will counteract the effectiveness of the pill. Also you must complete a couple of cycles of the pill before it becomes effective.You should still always use a condom to prevent STD'S.

dont take anibotics without using another form of birthcontrol. and be really careful if you're a big grapefuit eater. apparently there is something in grapefruit that can negate the effectivness (thats how my sister in law got pregnant, but she eats at least 2 a day)

sometimes it's not strong enough for a very fertile woman, the doctor can adjust the dose if it's not too late.
