No one can tell you if they are real. You are just going to get a bunch of answers that will fall into two groups.

One group of answers will tell you their own "ghost" and "spirit" stories.

The other group of answers will say that you are imagining things.

I am willing to bet that you have never gotten drunk or taken drugs. Why? Because those people often have a naive faith that anything they think is true must be true just because they thought it.

On the other hand, people who have been drunk and done drugs understand that the human mind is not 100% reliable. They know that the mind can think wacky thoughts, fantastic thoughts, and it can think that things are happening which are not happening.

If I told you that you had a hallucination you would not believe me, but the death of a loved one is a very stressful situation that can affect the mind and influence what it thinks.

I think they are real. I think my grandpa is around a lot for some reason. 2 days before my sons second birthday the retarded day care I had him in let him get out and didn't even know he was missing. A stranger found him in the middle of one of the busiest streets in our city right as rush hour was beginning. I believe the angel that kept my baby safe was my grandpa. It may sound stupid and it's not a ghost siting or a smell, but he is the first person that popped in my head when I found out what happened and the odds of my son escaping this incident with no injury were not likely at all, but all he had was wet clothes from his diaper leaking. There are other things that happen that make me think my grandpa is around sometimes but that day I know he was.

Depends on how you look at it. Some say that people will imagine things such as smells like the meds you smelled, or cologne or perfume. Its triggered by your emotions of losing that person. You want so badly for them to be there, your mind hallucinates these things. From a spiritual standpoint, yes, I believe in ghosts. People who have never experienced anything extraordinary do not understand. I have had several encounters throughout my life, and they have been very real regardless if people believe me or not. I don't think they are hallucinations at all. My ex killed himself 3 years ago, and still to this day I feel his presence. When my bf of now and myself started dating, the first night he ever spent with me he experienced something but denies it now. He woke up in the middle of the night feeling like someone was pinning him down to the bed. I woke up to see him struggling to sit up. Suddenly, it was like he was released and he sat up. I think it was Andy testing him as a joke. He was just that kind of person.

yes for sure .
I believe that our loved ones come in for a visit once and a while I have been studying this stuff for quite a few years now and had a interest in this since I can remember. I have felt my dad from time to time. I have tried my own investigations and have caught something on digital camera. past loved ones love to come to family events as well. ie: Christmas , birthdays, christenings etc

i do trust that there are ghosts/spirits. there ought to correctly be a message of each and every of the doors placing out alongside with a husband searching for his lost love or family individuals heirloom that replaced into left contained in the abode. maximum ghosts/spirits wont attempt to damage someone, they often purely pass on doing what they prefer, the purely reason a spirit ought to damage you is that is a foul/evil one or you probably did something to make it indignant. in case your cousin wasnt harmed by the spirit, i dont imagine its a foul/evil one, it may purely be wandering round or searching for something on account that maximum ghost and spitirs are there because an difficulty is unresolved even as they were easily residing.

i totally believe in ghosts/spirits. I still have yet to see one, but I would love to. Even though it would be one of the scariest things in the world, I still think it would be really neat. I've heard of that smell thing happening to people. I think it's your grandfather. :)

Have you ever touched one? Ever actually seen one yourself? Ever read any scientific evidence for proof of them being more than the figment of scared minds? What do you think?
