It's like everything else. You learn how to sing. You practice until you're good. Then you go looking for a job as a singer.

I also want to be a singer but I am not one of those people that say that . I have worked for this since I was 5 years old and I am still really young . If you are serious about this pick up a guitar or take piano lessons . I have played guitar since I was like 5 and I am almost ready to finish my demo cd soon I will hand that in to record companies and hope for the best . I have gotten some gigs at certain places and it was fun . I got that feeling that I know this is right for me . I never got stage firght so I love being on stage . You can also write your own songs I do that to .
If you are over like 19 years old I don't think it could happen but then again look at Shania Twain she started at 27 . My parents told me I have to practice 4 hours a day if I want this and if they didin't see me practice they wouldn't let me do this and I really do owe it all to them . So support is key .

or did you want to know how to be a singer well just sing sing all the time to be famous is the hard part record a CD and take it to a college radio station and see if they will put it on for you inter into talent shows put your self out there in the world so you can be heard try out for American idol good luck.

yes, i wanna be a singer, in fact im a singer in my own right, lolz because not a single day pass by without me singing....
so you want to be a singer? you mean on stage like popular singers?
hmm you can go for auditions, im sure there are singing contests there in your place, you can try there, some of our singers here are products of such contests....this can be an effective stepping stone for you to be discovered.
also try to join music clubs in your school, or participate in a choir in your church or any singing group to enhance your talent

It helps to listen to songs, sing along with them. I started by joining a band. Answer adverts in magazines or even post an ad yourself. It really depends what style you want to sing too. If you want to be in a pop band, then thats down to looks as well as voice. If you want to sing other styles (rock etc) then you got to do it the hard way. Touring clubs, pubs etc. Hope this helps...

you can become one...by going to college for it...or appear on American Idol for kids...of if your and adult 18 or older...adult American Idol....idk...
