speak for yourself, there are a few with open minds out there, but as it is clear from the inane nature of your question you only want to have your boyish ego massaged, I am only too happy to oblige.

Yes, almost everyone is that way. I do know that when you get defensive over something, it is usually YOU with the problem, and it is thrown in your face, or brought up, and you feel attacked. It happens to everyone, it is a human emotion..., about the being right ALL the time, as for me... I am one to prove that I am right and if i cannot, then i do apologize to that person. Most people are raised to be that way, when your parents fight, (while you are still at home), you feel like you have to take a side. God forbid you take the wrong one, then you are condemned to hell for the rest of your living days. We as adults... need to set better examples for our children, and our children for their children and so fourth, until this stinking cycle is broken.

people get defensive as they have something to hide usually something embarassing. some do need to be right all the time but they are people that dont have an open mind, they are usually rude and selfish people. i admit when i am wrong, and i know i can't be right all of the time.

I only get defensive when falsely accused of something. I don't take the heat for something I didn't do and I'll fight first before admitting to something I am not guilty of.

My knee-jerk response to your question is:

Why are you asking me that? What do you mean exactly by that question?

And I'm right to question your motive, and you are the wrong one for asking that question.
