some differene that is on CDs but not on cassettes.

The difference:
1) you can directly skip to another track very fast on a cd, not on a cassette, eg: from track 1 to track 3

2) You can store a lot of songs on a cd, cassete support only 80-90 min of recording

3) You can copy a cd into hard drive digitally very easily,it is comparitively difficult in case of cassete,

4) Some advanced players can play scratched cd, quite difficult and costly in case of cassette
