99% of all bi-racial people are either labled AA or consider themselves AA. In most cases they have to go with the race that is most receptive of them. Have you seen the Dorothy Dandridge movie? Have you seen the movie "An Imitation of Life". Society since time e memorial, has considered that just a drop of "black blood" in your DNA make-up automatically makes you black.

Mariah Carey is mixed. Her mom is white and of irish decent. And her Dad is African-American and i think part latin american as well. So Mariah Carey is part african american.

Well Carey is an Hispanic surname, she looks Hispanic ,and most of us Hispanics in the new world have mix of either balck or native american , so there you haveit, but mariah might have her own reasons to think so.I dont like her singing or attitude ,but the world is big enough for all opinions.
