You can create an icon that points directly to the Yahoo Answers website, but you can not answer questions without going to the website
To make an icon to YA, go to the home page for YA. Create a bookmark. Then drag that bookmark to your desktop. Click it and you go straight to YA home page.

In Windows XP navigate to the page that you want a desktop icon for in your Internet Explorer browser. The browser should not be full-screen, but re-sizable, so there is some open desktop around it. Look up in the address bar...see the little icon before the websites address...?? Click on it and drag it over to an open part of the desktop. Theres your shortcut...right-click to rename it anything that you like.

save the page as a favourite then rite click it and send to desktop
