TV must show bad things about countries to gain audience.
Terrible and critical situations are amazing to bring discussions and pulitzer prizes. Sex and Beautiful woman bring men's audience. True is an irrelevant factor.

Slavery in Brasil. Probably remote situation in few remote places, less than foreigners slavery happened in USA and Europe.

Sugarcane, Soya, Cows putting down Rainforest - Not true but used as a manipulation to maintain certain markets under control.

Carnaval show naked womans, but only in festivals and people around the world believes Carnaval happen 365 days/year and country almost large as USA just became only one festival.

They do ot care about history, when during carnaval since 1.700 common people are able to do everything, they can just be same as an Elite. That are 5 free days during the summer to scape from office. Large holliday like it does not happen around the world.
Mostly of brazilians goes to the beach or take place travelling all around.

Our beaches. Brazil doesn't have Topless (less than 2%) and they rarelly use string like in Europe. Brazil has an conservative society with strange rules. Almost naked womans are everywhere in Italian television

Youth protitutes are created by first world travellers. It happens everywhere (Africa, South Asia). Power of persuasion of money and there is nothing that brazilian authorities can do.

Brazilian rainforest is just an excuse. They put all down in south asian rainforest and nobody says nothing.

As usual, like is possible to check everywhere, TV and Newspaper are not interested to show truth and often are used as a manipulation service to induce some political decisions.

I don't know one person in the USA who thinks that. I am sorry if you feel that people from other countries think that. I have never been to Brazil but I have always thought it to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. By the way jungles and naked women aren't bad things to be known for. Both are thought to be beautiful by people all over the world ;)

Ever seen a documentary about the upper reaches of the Amazon (which in alomost entirely in Brazil)?

Some people have other views of Brazil, like the substandard housing that ring the major cities and the grinding poverty that the Brazilian government is unable or unwilling to address.

People tend to think of places they've never been to in very simplistic and visual ways. Everybody does that. On the other hand, some people are a little more thoughtful or well-read, and don't see things so simplistically.

Personally, I think beautiful women with nice assses, football mega-cities, and carnival.

For most people Brazil means; rainforest, football (soccer), festivals in Rio, cars that run on alcohol, and the Amazon jungle. Since most countries don't have an Amazon jungle that part is probable the most distinctive.
