(I'm in the U.K)
Badgers have started to come into my parents garden at night and eat the left over bird bread. We think this is because it is so hot they are having trouble finding their usual food (worms e.t.c.) We want to help them out, so nutritionally what would be the best food to give them?
Are there going to be any negative consequences of doing this?
Thanks.
Are there any other ways to help wildlife in this weather?

That's nice to hear as Badgers don't normally stray into gardens. I wouldn't recommend feeding them as they can get nasty and are extremely dangerous. Maybe there is a specialist in your area who would be more than pleased to observe them or move them on. Enjoy

I would talk to your local wildlife authority, and make sure it's not against regulations to feed them.. In the US it's illegal to intentionally feed some of the wild animals.
