Why are there so many liberal idiots in the world?

Because of Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Truman, LBJ, Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II. All of these presidents sucked equally. However I believe the Democrats are worse than the Republicans in general. It is good to see that true conservatives see Bush as a radical lunatic. The neo-cons are the most un-American group of whackos ever in American history. They love war and alliances with foreign powers. Despite all their rhetoric they believe in the U.N. and E.U.

What does liberal mean to you? If you are talking about US political liberals, I would say that that term is almost meaningless.

If someone really believes that he has to take the "liberal" position on all issues, then he is an idiot but I doubt if such a person exists. I may not like Ted Kennedy but I know he is certainly a very intelligent man.

I won't even comment on what I feel about Russ.

In politics it is better to take each issue and look for solutions. They may be called liberal or conservative but I don't care.

In other parts of the world being a liberal is totally different but I won't get into that now. (Another question)

If you are refering to "Democrats" you would have to include "Republicans" in your IDIOT classification also.

Look closely, they do the exact same things: steal more of your money, trample you freedoms, interfere with you personal life, ignore the Constitution...

As far as I can tell, the only good that has come from the Bush administration is:
1> allowing the "assault weapon" ban to expire (what a crock of sh-it that law was....)
2> appointing a Supreme Court who appears to be able to read (Roberts)
3> a few very small step toward controlling imigration - although he should have done it years ago.

Think Democrats are better than Republicans (or vise-versa)? Then you are a lost cause - brain washed beyond hope.

Uh, buddy, what's with the redundancy? Liberal idiot is like saying liberal liberal or idiotic idiot.

To buy into the liberal worldview, you have to not actually use logic or reason - you just have to FEEEEEEEL things. For expample, it doesn't matter that welfare actually harms those who receive it, entrenching them in a soul-crushing spiral of dependency, it only matters that they FEEEEEL good about themselves for having DONE SOMETHING to show they CARE.

I could repeat this type of example in numerous ways - like how their vehicle fuel economy standards legislation actually created the market for SUVs, how welfare to support illegitimate children actually cause more illegitimate children to be born, etc.

If is this fuzziness of feeling that leaves liberals unable to coherently voice any reasoned argument beyond, "Bush is a chimp Hitler idiot warmonger theocratic imbecilic oil-company stooge puppet." blahblahblah.

So, you see, you needn't be redundant by calling a liberal an idiot. Because that's a given. QED.

They are not idiots, they are just misguided by a pie in the sky mentality. They are easily persuaded by misinformation and are to lazy to look up the facts. They have the right to be that way as long as they know that they are misguided and that they have no yearning for the truth.
