It could be insecurity. Do you simply admire them or do you lust after them? If you sit and talk about how how they are or would do them then I can see why it might bother them. If you just say you like their music then they're just being insecure. My wife admires many male artists and it doesn't bother me at all.

Because they are insecure.
They dont think of that when they admire female artists
if no one admired either we would have a lot of starving celebrities

cause they think its real and they cant compare to them. think if your boyfriend liked someone like britney spears and you were a short dumpy brunette you'd feel you weren't his type.
