It's not just women. Men have their moments as well. It has nothing to do with what's between your legs, but more to do with what's between your ears.

Or lack thereof....

And you all must chill. It's a valid question from his standpoint, and even if it isn't, this is the reaction he would be hoping for.

Either way....Caaaalllmmmm. ^.^

Actually, women comprehend very well, as long as it's other women! Men are the same way. They comprehend other men extremely well.

The way that the human mind works is a bit different for females than it is for males. Males and females do not think like each other, and their thought processes are not quite the same. A females thought processes are usually emotionally driven. Even the answer to a simple mathematical equation, in her brain, is easier to comprehend and understand if she is able to attach an emotional value to it. This is why females, generally, have a more difficult time with things such as math and science. That isn't to say that they can't do it, or that these subject areas are impossible for them, just that it is more difficult as they have to develop a different understanding of these subject areas.

Men however are more analytical in their thinking. women say "pay the electric by the fifteenth, or we lose electricity and are stuck in the dark taking cold showers." This is an emotional response. Men say "pay the bill by the fifteenth because my paycheck comes in on the 13th and it will likely be gone to other bills by the sixteenth. The paycheck after that has to go to pay the car payment and insurance or I could wind up having my car repossesed which would look bad on my credit history. So, electric has to get paid first so that I am able to pay the car note with the next check and avoid that problem."

Men and women both are thinkers, but in different ways. They both comprehend things perfectly, but in their own different ways. Women are better in theoretical sciences where as men are better in analytical sciences.

The true answer, for our dear question holder, isn't "why are women unable to comprehend" but rather "why are men and women often times unable to comprehend each other?" Understanding that it is the true question will go a long way to understanding the reactions your girlfriend/wife had towards you about five minutes before you posed this question to us out of frustration. *winks*

I am a male and yet find it difficult to comprehend this question. A female is adept at sensing the dangers, normally a male fails to notice. She acts more through her instincts than reason, perhaps because of her biological vulnerability. They are good at picking up a foreign language faster than a male. I feel a female is more intelligent than a man is.

I am able to understand the reason why the questioner has not comprehended the fact that a female, in more than one way, is a superior intelligent being. That is because he is a male.

As far as I can comprehend, being of a female gender, you are sadly lacking in fresh air and human interaction. Get off your backside and go mingle with some real people for a change! Maybe you can make yourself more comprehend able if you learn some social skills!

Actually I agree that women find it difficult to comprehend some things, just as men find it difficult to comprehend others. Human beings have evolved working in groups performing different tasks, men did the ug, ug, grunt work, hunting etc, so there logical thinking, timing, depth perception, hand eye co-ordination is often better than mens, conversely women tend to be better at things like reading body language, using and listening to spoken language, multitasking and certain types of problem solving. Hand in hand with this we think differently and have different general personality traits. I find my husbands work (electronic engineering) sometimes very difficult to understand and he thrashes me at logic games, he however needs my help with his spelling and doesnt really "get" abstract thought.
These are of course generalisations, we are all different....

Perhaps that's a reflection of the women your talking to or maybe your conversational skills aren't up to scratch. One thing is for sure, posting a question like that in a public forum where the vast majority of people answering are women, indicates to me that perhaps your not the brightest penny in the fountain. However, all is not lost for you I'm sure... Maybe if you were a bit less arrogant women would find slightly more worthwhile talking to you. Respect those around you and maybe they will give you the respect of having an intelligent conversation...

Peace

What a pathetic question. What is it they can't comprehend, your amazing intellect? The Times Crossword? Football? The theory of Relativity? Why some people like to put other groups of people down because it makes them feel better about themselves? What.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Maybe you are a selfish, egotistical, arrogant, boorish, dolt! You can look these words up in a dictionary. From a male perspective....women are much more adept at comprehension than most men in a relationship. If you treat a woman with respect, listen to her opinions, and give her credit for her intelligence....you will find that they give you more in return. What goes around, comes around. Don't expect anyone, much less a woman, to treat you well unless you do the same.

to comprehend is to understand something. it is not a suitable end to your question. Your question needs to state what it is you think females find so difficult to comprehend.

Perhaps you need to brush up a little on your comprehension.
