As for children, children thrive in a happy home with a happy carer or carers. Children can thrive in a good orphanage, adopted or foster home as much as in a home with one or two parents. Couple who get married for the child, or stay married for the child, but who are unhappy together will create more problems for their child than being apart and happy.

But from my point of view, its just a paper saying you have to be stuck together with no freedom from each other.
