I would suggest to keep it as it is and let the people change their attitude about your name.

For instance, you can say you got this name in school as you were an outstanding person throughout your schooling.

.. and Loss actually means "Leader of School Senses"

You may wish to change this "School senses" to something else, more meaningful and related to your life, skills etc.

Key is ... do not let yourself down just because world may laugh or think u as stupid. Stand by yourself and educate the world.

How about "Ross"? It still sounds similar, and even though it's a little out of the ordinary, it's not terribly uncommon (Ross Martin, etc.). You don't want to go too far from what you've already named yourself (don't go from "Gordon" to "Sting," for example).

If you want it to be a similar name try doss, or Ross. Otherwise I would just keep your own name. Americans think forgien names sound cool! plus it's YOUR name so be proud of it!

or Ross... or why not just keep your name... I don't think anybody is going to really say anything... just introduce yourself as your real name and say, but people call me loss
