You can still have "slaves" but you can certainly retain people to work for you doing the crappiest job for little pay and expect too much for them and not give them enough. You can treat people as a "slave" but they shouldn't be accepting of such treatment.

Yes.. I have 5 of them myself.. including my wife.. but it is a pain to maintain them though. The food.. the needs.. A real hassle.. Apart from that, its all good
