Yes, you'll be fine. Go ahead and move out. I'm not sure what type of abuse you are talking about but try to keep the possibility of keeping in contact with your parents a little bit if at all possible. Time can heal.

Once your 17 you may move out anywhere in US, no one will bother getting involved because of your age and the fact the clock is rapidly ticking to 18. States and counties have enough problems with the 16 and under crowd, budgets are stretched thin and caseloads are big. My own daughter moved out on her own at 17 in WI.
