I study sociology in Cairo university..but with subjects I study in there..I don't think I can be a counselor...I want to hear ppl..solve their problems..I need to know how to gain the techniques to do so..what to study..what to learn...?

I know plenty of counselors having worked in education for over 20 years. The best are those who have worked on their communication skills. Take all the public speaking classes you can; take all the writing classes you can. Focus on listening skills as well. You have to be an effective communicator, both by speaking and by listening, to be an effective counselor. Good luck!
