I care whenever anyone dies who made an impact.

Syd's musical and lyrical presence was greatly felt by those in the know. And while the drug thing is overemphasized, Syd was a pioneer.

yep RIP Syd..& I said so about a week ago when it happened & it is a great loss to the industry & band..as well as the fans..

I feel sad for him in that disease and drug abuse prevented him from reaching his potential so that we could enjoy his music. At least he is in peace now.
