Setting up a small business in Atlanta?

I just moved to Atlanta and would like to set up a small home-based business. My questions is: Where do I go in Atlanta to set up a fictitious business name, register for a business license, and get a seller's permit? I looked this up on google with no luck.

you can choose to do home based job in Atlanta and there is no license required. . go for the internet business which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.

What type of business? Start with a business degree from a local university. Save up as much money as you can. At least 2 or 3 years worth of working capital Get a business license. Find a location Find a wholesale provider of goods. Buy your inventory Buy advertising Open the doors for business Be prepared to not make a dime (no salary for yourself) for at least one full year. You'll need that money to reinvest back into the company to grow the business. If you can survive for three years you can probably make it work.

Go downtown to city hall; I think it's on Mitchell Street, or MLKJr. Drive. Definitely it's near that area. Haven't been there in a LONG time, though.
