Try Oil Swishing with cold pressed sunflower seed oil. Swish until it is foamy two or three times a day. The added benefit would be cleaner, whiter teeth.

If that doesn't do it in one week, I would get some wild crafted oil of oregano and put one tiny drop in my sunflower seed oil to kill deep rooted bacteria.

Drink several glasses of clean water with a dash of unrefined sea salt three times a day would also clear your body of toxins that may have cause the acidic gut environment in the first place.

I would also have a shot glass of strong fruit juice with a tablespoon of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar with a dash of cinnamon, cayenne, and turmeric every day.

You don't have to try these all at once but if I had gingivitis, I would start with the oil swishing and add the other modalities slowly to see which ones are having the greatest impact and stick with the one's that work.

Try using coenzym Q10 (sorry not herbal) this will stiffen up loose teeth and bring your gums back to life again. I know this is mainly used for people with heart conditions but most dentist now recommend it and it does work. Good luck

I need to do this myself...a strong tea made of Sage and Thyme (1tbsp/cup), let it steep for 30 minutes and use as a gargle 3 times daily. Add sea salt (1pinch) to the gargle at bedtime. I am at windstarhealing.com if you have any questions

There are things like menthol and camphor all of which you'll find in any formulation of Listerine which is clinically proven to fight such gum diseases.
