it makes me feel sick . they say it so repeatedly. obviously i iwl take care of my self. do they hav some kind of obsession?

well till i know you i would always say "take care", and then move up to "i love you" so it a saying that me we care for you.

It's not an obcession, it's a polite expression of concern to friends. It is a sign of kindness and well-wishing like Good Luck and God Bless and it is used to address gentle people who appreciate it, obviously you don't qualify for such a cordiality at all with your rude language.

It's just a phrase that shows that the person saying it cares for you!!! Lighten up, it's not an "obsession" - just good manners.

Maybe it's obvious that you usually don't take good care of yourself and it's just something the say spontaneously.

They are worried because if you are not going to take care of yourself, they have to take care of you! Otherwise, they may also warning you of your future thinking in their mind that CONTROL YOUR DESTINY OR SOMEONE ELSE.....

it's just a guy thing to say.. they are probably used to saying it and it just comes out... they mean it as a kind thing... take it that way... it means be careful, don't get involved in things you shouldn't, etc. just let them express their emotions... they are guys...
