Sounds like you were more dependent on her for your happiness than she was with you.
I suggest you start actively doing other things to keep your mind preoccupied.
Service is the best antidote, second is time.
Spend time with family and your best guy friends and doing things for other people.
Best wishes!

It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
I know the pain sucks but the pain will pass and the worth of finding the one that can love you back the way you love will make all this struggle seem minor. Until then, go ahead, wallow in your self pity until you recognize in your heart that this doesn't get you anywhere. Then you can climb out of the wallow, shower off and start all over with a brand new outlook.

Yes, it hurts so much, doesn't it?
You guys together for a long time?
Best thing to do is: Take time out for yourself, improve you quality of life, spend time with friends - make new friends (they always know other people and who knows - maybe you'll find somebody BETTER?)
Start studying something - get a new sport to practise (might even meet some interresting people over there)
Keep yourself preoccupied - I know that time heals but you shouldn't waste it!
REMEMBER:
"THE WORLD DOES NOT STOP FOR YOUR GRIEF"

I must say I'm sorry because I know what you are going through. My boyfriend dumped me for another girl after we had been dating for 2 years. I was devastated. It literally ruined who I was. But I picked myself up & got over it. After a year & a half he came crawling back & after a lot of trust issues being resolved, we have been together for 8 years & it couldn't be better. I am actually glad it happened because it gave us time to grow.
Moral: If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it was meant to be! (& if it doesn't come back, then you'll find even better love elsewhere)

If you've decided you're not ready, willing or able... to take on a life together... just go your separate ways.
When negotiations stop... the possibility and probability of other relationships start.
