My dear, the pill is only 98% or 99% foolproof against pregnancy... that means theres' is a 2% or 1% chance of you getting pregnant and it's not impossible. Of course there are other factors tha might come into play, for example certain meds when taken while you take the pill can diminsh the effectiveness of the pill. Also if you skip or miss a pill, you diminish the pill's effectivenss as well. As for you getting your cycle still, I come from a family of women who bleed regularly during pregnancy...the result is usually a miscarriage or a preemie birth..... Get to a doctor/free clinic/planned parenthood and get a professional pregnancy test done. P.s. some home pregnacy test can read a false + or a false - so don't believe the hype you read on the box about accuracy. Good luck n God bless.

Get a pregnancy test.

The pill, while advertised as 98% effective in preventing pregnancy, is not fail proof. In fact, using an antihistimine and some allergy medicines will counteract the pill. I got pregnant twice while on the pill and have found that it is not effective for me.

It is also not uncommon to still have a period or period-like discharge for a couple months into pregnancy--I had a friend who had "cycles" until her 5th month.

Best bet is get a pregnancy test. You could also be lactose intolerant, which would cause your symptoms. Regardless you should probably see your doctor.

hey there... u bet u can get perggy even u constatly take ur pill... believe me... even if u dont miss out for even just a day.... specially if u have taken medicines... coz there are some medicines that could counteract the effect of the pills... like antibiotics for example... that's likely one of the most common ones that could affect the effectiveness of the pill... not just affect but it could make the pill ineffective... so u should take note for the times when ur not feeling well and u take a med... its not safe for u to have an intercorse if u have taken another med when u get sick...but most of the cases is taking up an antibiotic... u could really get pregnant coz it interact with the pills...but for u to be sure...see a doctor...
by the way here are some of the generics that could affect the effectiveness of the pills:
ampicillin, refampicin, tetracycline, indinavir, modafil, barbiturates, phenytoin sodium, and cyclosporin...
so better avoid some of these... but if its necessary for u to take this... piece of advice... do'nt engage in intercorse first until ur not taking it anymore...

Of Course you can still get pregnant on the pill but the other thing is, sometimes the pill can make you have similar symptoms of pregnant tender breast, bloating, nausea and vomiting, feeling sleepy alot. I would highly recommend that just to be on the safe side you always go and get a pregnancy test.

I'm now a great-great uncle even though my niece was on the pill. She had a tooth yanked and was given an antibiotic which VERY effectively killed her birth control pills. That was a drug-interaction that her Dr. or pharmacist SHOULD have caught. So, yes it can happen. Good luck in any case.

The pill isn't 100% secure so, yes, you may be pregnant.
I would advise you to go to a doctor because even if you have your cycle you could be pregnant because many women have their period in the first 3/4 months of pregnancy.
The doctor is your best option.

Yes you can get pregnant while on the pill (but is isn't very likely).
To find out for certain, either buy a pregnancy test or go to your doctor.
Your symptoms also are very similar to a stomach virus which is going around right now.

yes it is possible to get preg when you are on the pill. When you are taking the pill it sort of fools your body that you are preg so that the /your egg does not fertilize, but if your hormone level gets low then there is the possibility of preg. You can get one of the many tests from the drug store or you can go to planned preg (should be in the phone book) or check with the Dr that gave you the pill.

yes u can get pregnant on the pill. not very likely though. if u still have ur cycle i wouldn't worry too much. it stops when u get pregnant. the bloating could be too much salt in your diet. soda pop, chips, fast food, bologna and other processed meats, pickles anything with vinegar, lots of salt. the nausea could be worrying, and again a bad diet.

Your grammar indicates that you probably took the pill incorrectly. So yes it is possible to get pregnant. Positive confirmation will be received when you deliver.
