Technically, a lot of the facts are true, e.g. the scientific principles, if a little improbable, are actually true in Deception Point. Similarly, the symbolism depicted in Da Vinci's work is evident, but still does not prove that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had a baby. People fail to remember that it is actually a novel.

The datas that are used in dan brown's novels (such as da vinci code, etc) are MOSTLY TRUE. But that does NOT mean that they are FACTS or that the ideas written in the novel are correct. He does some kind of a research and put them together in the novel. He made links between the data, but his intrepetation might be wrong. Most of the datas are true and exist in the physical form. For example, there is a gospel (kind of) that suggest Jesus was married and that gospel do exist. BUT the truth of that gospel is still in doubt. For example, one of the gospel used says that Jesus abuses his divine powers as a child. Now, can you believe that?
Well it is a fiction anyway

There are a few "facts" in there, but it's mostly built on theories that others have come up with. Some of them have been proven wrong, at least one (The Priory of Scion) has been admitted to be a hoax, and most of the rest have just been guesses that they might be possible. For example, it MIGHT be true that Jesus married, like most men of his time, it MIGHT be true that Mary Magdalene was his wife, it MIGHT be true that they had a child. . .
by the time you get to the end, the odds are pretty slim.

It has a few facts with a huge fictional story . This work and many others like it surface every so often. It has been like that for hundreds of years. Each time it is a little differant.

I think while some of what he wrote is fact, a lot of what he wrote is also fiction.

Fantasy.

It is all well mixed up, to make a somewhat believable story, after all, no one wants to read a story which is totally un-credible, but I think most of it can be taken with a BIG pinch of salt.

It's a mixture of fact and fiction, but most of it should be taken with a pinch of salt, as the author has said himself. People take it waaaaay to seriously

Some are facts and for others we dont have any proof so can not say anything for those.
You can personally ask me for the facts, whenever I will have time I just can pen down those I know.

nah....that's the reason why its called "fiction"! Its just something created out of plaintive imagination and purely truth-free. And come to think of it: bartering your faith with a piece of paper? Weakening your faith over a piece of art? That sounds pretty atrocious for me.
