Rodent droppings are exceptionally hazardous to human health. They can cause a number of serious illnesses. The worst of these are airborne, in that you contract the disease when you inhale the microscopic particles that are released when the droppings are disturbed. These diseases are hard to cure, and are especially deadly to small children and older adults. Do NOT blow off these warnings! Eliminating an infestation of rodents and cleaning up after them is a job for professionals, who will have the necessary self-protective gear to wear while doing the job. The entire dwelling is likely to be a haven for those rodents, and their droppings are likely everywhere. They MUST be exterminated!

You really wouldn't have to ask if you could see them - rat droppings much much larger than mouse droppings. Hopefully yours are small!!!

It doesn't really matter they are both conical and a problem......if you have either best to find them and either get rid of them or charge them rent.....Rodents do carry disease. Their droppings letting you know they are still about.....don't bother with poisons.....Trapping is the best way because it lets you know you trapped one instead of that mysterious smell coming from decay somewhere. ......I have seen green colored poison end up in the droppings.
