munchy,
its nothing but something which will ask for your email and name they will sell these e-mails to spammers and spammers will use these email ids to sent all soughts of ****.
There are also nigerian scam mails.
Which say they have millions of grandfathers property and they want to move it out of the country and they will ask for your help.
When you are intrested, they will ask to deposit a sum of $5000(USD) or may be $15000(USD) depending upon how much you are intrested in the money. They will take your bank account details and will tell you that they will deposit the millions in your account and you get 50% for doing this.
All they do is, they dissappear after you deposit the $5000 for the transaction charger or expences(as they say).
Now push the SPAM button in your mail account to move the mail to spam. No one gets a penny for free and that too on teh internet where there are everyone of those idiots looking for the new ineternet users and make them fools.

Congratulations!!!
You can add it to the penile enlargement, breast enlargement, winning notices that you get in your mail box daily!!!
The number will cost you to dial, right?
If it costs you, then you only 'won' an opportunity to get scammed!
Bet you the number goes to an 'offshore' phone (rollover rotary dialer.) It will ring twice, then, the ring will change to a different sound... the sound of your bank account being emptied!

Get a couple of hookers that can suck the chrome off a trailer hitch, a fifth of Jack, and a recliner.
Live large.
