I've spent as much as 36 hours strait except for short breaks for food, shower and other necessities. I've done this more than once actually.

Reasons are often convos. Once talked to a lady non-stop for 30 hours. We both completely lost track of time. Spent another few hours before and after dealing with email, work related tasks and just piddling around.

I used to play a very intense online game that required vast amounts of online time. So on a particulerly important weekend I had convos with at least 100 different people I directed my alliances efforts in a war that involved at least 3,000 people. Almost half the active players of that game. These were people all over the world, some of them up for as long as me.

Doing web development I've spent 30+ hours at a shot at times. When I code I emerse in the code and hate to be interupted. I rarely know how long I've been at it until I absolutely need sleep or somebody reminds me. Thought the ole lady was going to divorce me once over one stint like that. We had something important to go too and I got to coding. I was a zombie through the whole thing. Don't even remember what kind of gathering it was. Had to dress up for it.

Technically not online much, but in front of a computer on more than one recording session I've either been playing an instrament or working on mix downs, edits and otherwise in front of a computer for 24-36 hours strait.

I am a severe insomniac. A normal sleep patern for me when I don't have an 8-5 gig is to be up for 20 hours or so, sleep for 6-7 and do it again. If I get wrapped up in something after 20 hours of doing other stuff it's easy for me to spend 24-30 hours online until my eyes just wont stay open. I usually don;'t spend all of that in front of a computer. Sometimes what I'm doing has me doing that.

Everyday. 24/7

I make living on the internet. I manage a whole sale online retailer that distributes goods throughout all the world. The more time I spend on it, the more money I make and earn. I am lucky if I sleep 3 or 4 hours only.

to me... i spend long hours like 24 or more when I am working on my projects in the weekends. Even food or personals comes only after my work. Once i had to sit along with my friend and programmer for more than 2 and half days and after that we slept for a whole day. It was an online database project where we had to keep doing the changes and check it on the live site.. was a really bad project.
