Alot of people say rap/hip-hop is the same thing over and over
(sex, drugs, ect) but they dont listen to it.They also fail to notice that most hip-hop fans never say anything about rock music, it never comes into subject. And there are lots of MC'S (rappers) like common, mos def, talib kweli, blackalicious, lupe fiasco, the roots ect
that never degrade woman or talk about cars or anything. And they never think what are some of these new age emo bands talking about, most the time the answer is i dont know, plus most rock bands that were once punk or hard core are emo now so that tell's you rock music has it's flaws to.

i believe people associate hip hop with certain images and that prejudices their mind towards it. there are a lot of positive mc's out there who get lumped in with the wack ones because of the type of music they make.

Thats probably the most hypocritical factor I've heard all day. Why does hip-hop all of a sudden end up "dangerous" on Sundays? If you are a Christian, doesnt that imply you will have to act in a "holy" technique consistently? ... and hip-hop isnt any unique than that mess they play at the pop stations. Hip-hop states the identical message, however no less than hip-hop doesnt beat across the bush with it.
