My friend has three children aged 12,8 & 5 and they went to Alcudia in Majorca she said it was the best location they ever went to and they had everything for the kids you could image. She stayed in a complex not sure of the name but it had everything for children, playground, tennis, table tennis, pool, snooker & pool, miniture golf and it was right beside the beach

Have a go in this country, the weather's good enough at the moment so why have the hassle of going abroad. You can save a fair bit of cash then for something else.

There's some real gems over here but people tend to disregard them because it's right under their noses. Exmoor is beautiful, the moorlands, the coastal walks (valley of the rocks especially), watersmeet. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Cornwall, the South Coast, the Norfolk Broads, Canal boat holidays, the Lake District, Scotland, Ireland. The list is endless.

There's no language barrier either.

Ibiza Playa den Bossa, is good. Near airport so not too much travelling. Close to water park. Ibiza is very small island so can travel around and take in sites. Loads of bars. Near to beach. Great all round, especially for families.

It totally depends on what Holiday you'd like:

For Skiing i'd say - Les Arc Near Chamonix, they cater for all ages (yes including 2yr olds) it amazing to see the little kids shooting past you on their short ski's with no fear at all!

For others why not stay in the UK? That's different we went to Wales last year for the first time, stayed in a cottage & had an excellent time!

If you want good value, warm weather, beautiful beaches and lots of activities for the kids, I'd suggest Fuerteventura in The Canary Islands. I just spent a week there with my girlfriend and we loved it. XL.com do great deals!

Just got back from Cala n Bosch in Menorca. Plenty to do, water park , bars and restaurants and sun! Also not the usual "Ibiza" crowd there.

Try one of the Balearics. I've put a page below with links to individual islands. I'm sure you'll find something suitable.
