God gave the land to the Jews. There has been a Jewish community in Israel since its creation.
After WW2 the Balfour declaration gave the Jews the land of Israel--it was actually much larger at the time but because of Neighboring countrys--the amount of land was reduced.

Jerusalem was divided with Jordon holding the Old city but they lost it when the Arab countrys attacked Israel in 1967 during the 6 day war of which Israel won.

The Jewish people had settled for a small portion but yet the Arabs still complain. The Arabs lands are immense and Israel is smaller than New Jersey.

Lets be clear--the current borders to ALL the Arab countrys where created by the countrys of the world that occupied the middle east IE: England, France etc... after WW2.

Thats why Iraq invaded Kuwait and Iran and Iraq fought for 15 yrs--because these false borders created new states that where a part of those countrys.

The Arabs where and are no-mads--they traveled through out the middle east in tents and the Jews and Arabs actually got along quite well before WW2.

This whole thing is not about a small piece of land--it is a religious war intent of eliminating all Jews.
History will show you that no matter where the Jews are--people have through out history tried to kill them off. Hitler being a prime example but he was not the first or the last.

By they way--the Muslims rate Christians only a half point higher on their "people to get rid of" grid.
The west is also a target and it is not because of support for Israel.

"Palestine" is a name created by the British--there never has been a land called Palestine or a people called Palestinians. If you take a look at history you will see that back then--the Arabs actually resented the name.

Gods promise to the Jews was forever--even with allowing a dispersion of Jews through out the world Gods promise was to bring them back to their land and this began in 1948 and continues to this day.

Believe what you will but God will not allow Israel to be defeated and the state of the world and the end of the world rests on the small country of Israel.

If you dont believe--explain how a newly formed country (Israel) managed to defeat all those Arab countrys in 1948 in the war that was decalred by the Arab nations the day after Israel declared itself a state?
Israel did not have the military it has today and the out-going British actually aided the Arabs.

NOTE:
Not until the Jews began to return was anyone even interested in Israel--with the exception of the no-mad tribes and a small Jewish community--Israel was a waste land. Look up what "Mark Twain had to say about the country after his visit.

even before ww2, arab nations did not recognize the jew even it is stated in their koran, that the promised land will be given to the jews, until god will revoked its promised to the israelites. so who cares about the arabs. it is written and destined to be land of the jews so be it.
