C for cheap man's Mercedes. I wouldn't get any class of Mercedes over Lexus. Save the money and enjoy the ride. You'll easily lose twenty or more days of service life through the life of a Mercedes over a Lexus.

Great entry-level Benz! And surprisingly economical -- you should hit 30 MPG on the highway, maybe better. And for around $30k, it's not much more expensive than a tricked-out Camry or Accord.

Oh, and the Benz dealer will treat you MUCH better than any Toyota dealer ever will.
