Two years is nothing, maybe if the subject comes up about age just tell him the truth. It shouldn't matter at all especially as you look younger. When I met my man he told me he was two years older than he was because he knew I was older than him and he didn't want to put me off. I didn't care at all, he is 7 years younger than me and we are getting married in 3 months.
Good luck

tell the truth, explain that you thought it would put him off being 2 years older, just be honest, cards on the table, and personally i dont think its going to make much different, you might have to take a bit of rib tickling, but it ain't the end of the world is it.
best of luck with your first meet, and i met my boyfriend of the Internet and we are going strong after 4 months, so yep just be honest and i believe it will be OK, what have you got to lose

2 years is no big deal, so I dont know why you lied in the first place. But, you should fess up now. Just explain to him that you wanted him to have a chance to get to know you for who you are and not reject you for being older. If he is a decent guy, he wont care.

You lied about TWO years difference? What was the point of that? Dont you think thats a bit sad? Why would he care about two years? Just tell him the truth, its not as if your really 50 is it?

If he loves you really, that wouldn't be a problem. just tell him, and explain that you were trying to protect something good that was devoloping, and that you didn't lie about your age, the thing is you just said the wrong number instead of the right one. It just a number anyway, whats in the heart is more specially than a stupid number. it only 2 years, it's not's that scary, be yourself and come clean.

Come clean - apologise. Surely it's not a serious thing - you were trying to impress the guy! And if he's going to dump you because of it, better now than later. It's a minor thing, shouldn't be the end of the world. If it is, he's got a problem.

Firstly, it's hardly a "serious relationship" if you have never actually met each other, you might not even get on in person.
Secondly, he may have told you loads of lies as well, it's so easy to do via a computer.
Thirdly, just tell him. What have you got to lose?

unfortunatley you are gonna have to come clean with this. He may be hurt at first, but explain your reason with him. Most guys can overlook the age thing, im 5 years older than my husband but we look the same age. this shouldnt be a problem. but he may be just a little distrustful about you after you admit it. the point is to be honest and tell him you feared rejection.

what is important is love between u to people. if u think ur's is a true love them 2yrs' doesn't matter anything. when ever u met him just tell the truth about ur age and how much u love him. if he really loves u then he will accept u if not he won't . but anyway please dont' tell lies in serious matters.
anyway all the best for ur love .
