It is really pretty when ladies wear nice dressess, which are appropriate to them. They are nice and comfortable. Then why do they go behind jeans and shirts?

Not all girls wear like men!! Or at least I don't. I prefer to look feminine not masculine.... Then again, is it in the law that jeans and shirts were for men?? FYI, it wasn't just made for men and what's more, it's a free country! We'r free to wear what we like!! I could just go out in my pj, like the police is gonna arrest me. Or maybe those girls are just trying to look cool. I know that in S'pore, M'sia, England and even America, jeans are quite trendy and popular among the ladies. But, as a girl, I would deffinately prefer to wear dresses... Why? Because I'm in the fashion line. I create my own brand and feel good in what I make!!

Because woman have a choice - they can wear either a mans suit or a pretty summer dress and no one bats a eyelid - so it is a womans choice what she likes to wear - I suppose it is double standards because if a guy walked around in a pretty summer dress, then all his friends would laugh and people would make fun of him - still this is probably the only thing that I can think of that woman have more choice than men in - so well done the girls

Traditionally feminine clothing is an irritating handicap. You can't walk or run or climb well in it, sit comfortably in it, move easily or swifly in it or relax properly in it. There may be limited exceptions to this, but I certainly haven't seen any. It makes a woman into a slow and very visible target - which of course is the reason men like it: it makes women more vulnerable and dependent than we need to be. All of which are damned good reasons to wear trousers and shirts and big solid shoes - quite apart from the fact that I look bloody ridiculous in women's clothes anyway.

umm i have never worn nice dresses, well not since i was probably 7 anyway! tell a lie i went to my leaver's ball in a dress but felt stupid and stayed sat down!
and dresses aren't always comfortable..... jeans and shirts are WAY comfier in my experience
people are more comfy in clothes they like and feel comfy in so if we chose to wear jeans its because we like them!
i'd rather chose trousers anyday, though in this heat i have no idea how people can wear jeans!

i like to wear comfy pants and jeans and stuff most of the time, then a dress or skirt when i go out , then i feel nicer and like ive madce an effort.

my brutally honest answer?/opinion for quite a few percentage of women
i used to dress VERY feminine,
then I was raped, and since then,
i've worn trousers, i've only ventured back into skirts/dresses , girly tops these last two/three years.
and it happened24 years ago
