I my self have alot of problems with faith these days. why mainly because society pulls you back and forth. you have trouble believing or seeing and faith is both in your self and in also in higher beings so as god. i heard in church once which i no longer attend, the so called believers that have not given themselves completley to god get angry and say they will never do it again if he just this once could help. if it doesnt happen they abbolish there faith. god is very confusing he does work in mysterious ways. the reason some turn to god when they feel inataquit i beleive its a comfort zone, or something that are parents have taught us in the past that god is all and forgiving, or a familiarity. which im not arguing but have a hard time myself putting myself out there and trust in something that is as light as thin air. i mean over all do i believe there is a god yea maybe but i guess ill find out when i get there.
by writing this message i did not mean to affend anyone.

When everything goes bad for me and I have no way out, yeah I ask God for help, but I've noticed that never seems to work. I haven't had any luck yet and feel like breaking down. So I don't know. Sorry!!

a million. it is actual maximum unlawful immigrants in u . s . of america are Mexican/South American, yet many criminal voters in u . s . of america are Hispanic besides, and no one ought to ought to educate they're voters on call for from police. we are no longer residing in a totalitarian dictatorship. 2. sure that is, so what? i'm no longer a tremendous fan of it both, even if it is really no longer something like the AZ Immigration regulation. 3. no longer optimistic what generality you're speaking about, yet I really do not accuse human beings of being racist merely in accordance to their crew club, except that crew is an avowed racist crew. 4. sure i ought to, there are racists of each and every coloration. So easily the merely suitable aspect you made is in a million. and something develop into irrelevant.

It has nothing to do with losing confidence. We call on God with all our needs and thank Him for what He has done and will do in the future. We know when we call on Him unless we are knocked out!

there was this atheist walking through the woods and Bigfoot jumped out and started chasing him......he ran and ran, then finally says, "God, Help me! Help me!"
this booming voice comes from the Heavens and says...."I didn't think you believed in Me."
the atheist says, "Hey, give me a break, twenty minutes ago I didn't believe in Bigfoot either."

I think we all know there is a Higher Power, but the people who never call on Him, never see what He can do, and during desolate times, or heartbreaking moments, we all cry out for help and hope from that Being.

it's only when we are totally humbled that we are open to God. Indeed, it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.

The question and the answers seem to assume God is a man. How come?

To restore our mental equilibrium / balance / composure.

May be to surrender our worries to God!

May be it is a matter of habit inherited or acquired. Second Nature.

No Harn in it. Don't we all need a shock-absorber? God serves that purpose!

IT IS only natural to call to God for help when we are in dire straits. After all, he “is great and is abundant in power; his understanding is beyond recounting.” (Psalm 147:5) He is in the very best position to help us to cope with our problems
