Think of the logic of the market we have in place. Right now, say you pay 3 a gallon. Some fool decides that a whale farting in Newfoundland will impact oil production. So, the price at the pump will rise before the next morning. Keep in mind that the oil you use now was already refined at a lower price months, even years earlier. So the things that impact the price should not be seen untill AFTER the current oil is refined. But instead the expected future price is passed on to consumers now. What a rip....
