Between 1 & 30000, the numbers are 2519, 5039, 7559, 10079, 12599, 15119, 17639, 20159, 22679, 25199, 27719... & the series goes on. You can keep adding 2520 & get the next number.

Each of the given numbers, when divided by 10 will leave 9, by 9 will leave 8, by 8 will leave 7 & so on upto 1.

PS: 2520 yields 0 as remainder when divided by 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 or 2. It is the smallest positive number which has this property, & any of its multiple will have the same property too. And interesting question, by the way!

If we call this number n, then n+1 is divisible by the numbers 1 through 10, which implies that n+1 is a multiple of 2520.

Therefore this condition is satisfied for all numbers of the form n=2520k-1.

You may obtain the number by factorial of x minus 1.
which is 9!-1, to get 362880-1=362879.
The number 362879 fulfil your criteria of div by 9 get 8 ....till 1.

This is not the smallest value that fulfill your criteria, you have to take out the comman factor to get the smalles value, which is 2519. (Anyway, this homework will leave to you to solve.)

so, optionally, if you want to get something like div by 9 get 7, div by 8 get 6, then it is 9!-2 = 362878, and so on...

Math is fun.

(Hint: get the value down from 362880 to 2520 by removing common factor)
