The pop-up blocker is disabled. The links I am clicking on are still valid websites. This is a software or computer problem. Can somebody help??? Thanks. It's driving me crazy, coz it's my friend's computer and I need to do stuff. xxx

There could be a problem with your browser's ability to display java in websites. Try to update you web browser or try a different one all-together. Download either Opera or Morzilla Firefox. They are free, light and fast. I have both.
You may also want to clean up the registry. Registry mechanic does that easily.
If you want a spy-ware remover, you can also download Ad-aware SE personal. It's free.

I believe you internet connection does not have enough cookies to run the site, or your computer does not have the software to run the program fully. You should try upgrading you internet connection or download the required software.

You have an infection known as "About Blank". Go here and do the procedure and scan. This should get rid of it.

I am no expert, but try downloading some of the spywear systems available and run that through, see what that picks up. Hope it is nothing too bad.
